Discount Training Classes, Pet Sitting, and More

Humane Domain is offering discounted training classes to any Baltimore Humane Society adoption family. There is also a discount for anyone who mentions Baltimore Humane Society. Plus 20% of your class tuition will be given to BHS as a donation by Humane Domain.

Humane Domain provides animal behavior consultation and training services for dogs, horses, other pets, aquatic life, as well as animal sanctuaries and zoos. All training is natural, holistic and humane, using operant conditioning with an emphasis on positive reinforcement.

Training Classes:

An 8 week class for dogs is only $150 (regularly $225) for BHS Adoption families. You and your dog will learn to:

Walk on a loose leash
Sit stay, down stay, “leave it”, and back up commands
Retrieve
Compete with the environment for your dog’s attention
Classes taught by certified behaviorists and certified trainers that also train assistance and therapy animals.

Therapy Dog Classes:

Help raise money for HSB while teaching your dog the skills and tricks necessary for therapeutic visitations, accompanying you to outdoor restaurants, and more. Training is with the same methods used to train assistance dogs. Flyer

Prerequisites:

Dogs must have basic training including sit, down, stay, come and walking on a loose leash. Choke, prong or electronic collars are not permitted in class. Dogs must be adult, child and dog friendly.
