The Lead Staff Veterinarian is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Spay/Neuter Center and all veterinary care for animals at the Humane Society of Baltimore County. The Lead Staff Veterinarian reports to the Executive Director and works in partnership with the Operations Management Team (OMT), which consists of the Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Operations.

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for overall management and operation of the Baltimore Humane Society, protection of the organization’s financial assets, as well as compliance with trust requirements, and federal and state requirements. The Executive Director also is responsible for overall revenue generation, financial management, organizational development, staff management, program operations, and marketing/public relations.

The Baltimore Humane Society is seeking part-time customer services representatives to work within its Animal Center. Individuals must be hardworking, possess excellent communication skills, and compassionate. In addition, individuals must possess a creative, positive attitude and must be comfortable working with pets and people.
The position requires a flexible schedule and will include weekends and holidays. Responsibilities will include animal care and customer interaction. Experience helpful but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting team of animal welfare professionals and to contribute to the development of a great organization. We are taking a refreshing approach to animal welfare and are seeking individuals who want to make a positive difference.
