Nicodemus Memorial Park offers individuals a unique and beautiful area in which to remember the joy and life of a beloved family pet. Situated on the Elsie Seeger Barton Wildlife Sanctuary, Nicodemus Memorial Park provides a serene setting for individuals to remember and share their love for a recently departed friend.

By utilizing the services of Nicodemus Memorial Park, individuals become part of the greater effort, not only to remember and cherish lives past, but to preserve the lives of many wonderful shelter pets.

Funeral Services

Memorial services for loved ones are important part of the grieving process.  We offer a variety of different services to meet the needs of each individual, and we are here to help.

Musical Remembrance Option

One special option to enhance your memorial is the inclusion of a complimentary musical remembrance.  A professional Cantor and a member of the clergy for over two decades, Ellen Schwab, sings a non-denominational psalm and one other selection of your choice at the memorial.  This free option is only available for services scheduled on Tuesday's. 

Interment Options

Individuals wishing to lay their pets to rest within Nicodemus Memorial Park have several options for interment:

• Standard headstones included with each plot
• Private viewings upon request 
• Custom headstone selection 
• All plots are prepared to accommodate a tandem burial for future needs
• Casket selection - Standard or Deluxe, Eco-friendly and natural wood selection upon request
• Burial services available with or without casket 

Cremation

Option of receiving the cremains in an ornate wooden urn or interring them within Nicodemus Memorial Park.

Special arrangements may be made for individuals wishing to spread ashes or inter the cremains in an alternate location.

Pet Removal and Transport

We ask that if you are bringing your pet for burial or cremation, that it must be done before 4:30pm.

If you are unable to transport your pet, it can be arranged for a member of our staff to transport your pet's remains for preparation.

 

Losing a pet is difficult enough. We're here to help. We accommodate special requests for burial to the best of our ability.
