Our family is so sad about the loss of our beloved Louie who died at the young age of 5. Louie battled lymphoma (cancer) for over six months and was so brave going through all of his chemotherapy treatments. We tried everything possible to get him healthy again, but the cancer was too much for him to handle. We could not let him struggle any more through the discomfort he was in. He is in peace now.

Louie was such a good dog that was easy going and had a big heart. He always loved every person that came into our home and always welcomed any new dog without any aggressiveness. He was so friendly, he even walked into the vet every time wagging his tail.

Our daughter Dani rescued him from a shelter in North Carolina when he was about 10 months old. Louie stayed by Dani's side every minute when she fell ill. He would lay by her side whenever she felt unwell as he sensed her pain. He was an amazing dog that cared so much about us. We are so lucky to have had him in our lives.

Louie was always so happy and content with life and he loved everything around him, especially his family and just sitting outside watching nature.  He was delicate, sweet, loving and one of the best friends anyone could ever have. We miss him terribly as our lives changed forever today. Louie, we love you so much. Spencer, Reggie, Ginger, and Pop Pop will take care of you in heaven!!!!!!!

We will pray for you everyday!!!

What he loved most...

  • Hanging out under the hammick
  • Enjoying the outdoors & the privacy of our house
  • Being with Dani
  • Eating & chewing on ice
