Volunteers are an important part of our shelter and the everyday lives of our animals. The Baltimore Humane Society can also use help with clerical work and Honey-Do/Handyman jobs. We'd love to have you join us. Here are the guidelines: You must be age 18 to volunteer to work with the dogs. Anyone age 14 and older can volunteer to work with the smaller animals like cats and rabbits, but may not work with the dogs even if they are with an adult. No one younger may volunteer unless they are accompanied by an adult. Even if they are with an adult, they may only work with the small animals. |
